Welcome to our site  the Free Fava Foundation was put together by a group of people with “unity of purpose”  our purpose to start a movement and  In this movement  we plan  to better Inform our community of  the (felony murder rule) we believe this law is a great injustice! We also want to help the people  get to know Troy Fava and hear his story.

This is a case that violates the Constitution. In some cases it  violates the Eighth Amendment: cruel and unusual punishment, grossly disproportionate to the crime(s) actually committed. Holding one or more people criminally liable for the tragic results of an act which differs greatly from the intended results is based on a concept of culpability which is totally at odds with the general principles of jurisprudence. It is fundamentally unfair and in violation of basic principles of individual criminal culpability to hold one person liable for the unforeseen and unagreed-to results of another person’s action. Because. Intent to commit felony does not equal intent to kill. The intention of committing a felony, by itself, should not be sufficient to establish a charge of murder.

Over all our goal is to one day FREE TROY FAVA  till then we need as much exposure as possible  so speak the word, Introduce Troy’s story to anyone  you know that may be able and willing to help: friends, celebrities, media, politicians, lawyers, judges,  teachers, authors, ANYONE! After Troy was wrongfully convicted then sentenced  to 35 years to life in prison  he said he feared that he would be forgotten through our movement and with your help we plan to ensure that does not happen
